Marcus Food Co. is proud to announce that we’ve received our USDA Organic Handler Certification.
Organic Certification aligns us with the USDA’s recent Strengthening Organic Enforcement (SOE) initiative and demonstrates our commitment to integrity and transparency in the organic supply chain. We have long been working to simplify the compliance steps required to preserve the integrity and value of organic and other attributed products passing through Marcus Food Co. We are pleased there is now a standard in place to ensure compliance for all handling operations, as many other players in the middle market cannot provide this same level of assurance. Marcus Food Co. is excited to support this initiative which better protects our organic producers, processors, and ultimately their consumers.
